Grant Period: May 1, 2023 – April 30, 2026
Grant Overview: The purpose of this grant is to initiate an industry-wide effort to advance pollinator-friendly practices to restore habitats in key oil olive growing regions across California. Anticipated outcomes include increased on-farm environmental benefits and likely increase producer returns.
As the Grant Beneficiary, it is your responsibility to maintain implemented habitats through the grant program period and the immediate three (3) years following. Documentation related to PHP-funded projects must be maintained three (3) years after the project.

Eligibility and Requirements
- Eligible Counties: Northern California down to Merced County
- Number of Available Partners: 5-10 on-farm projects will be selected, dependent on anticipated project cost.
NOTE — In accordance with CDFA requirements, 25% of funds will be allocated to Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers. American Olive Oil Producers Association (AOOPA) member applications will receive preference in the selection process.

- Photos with Geotagged Information
- If selected, you will need to complete a CDFA Letter of Commitment
